AFA High School Art Scholarship Winners
At the AFA Board meeting on March 1st, two entries were selected by a majority of points vote to each receive an AFA Award of Excellence, AFA Scholarship cash prize of $250 and an invitation to exhibit their winning art at the 19th Annual “Best of the Best” Fine Art Exhibit Awards Night on May 5.
Bottom Left - “Isolated” by Angela Pauldine of York HS in Elmhurst ~ Oil painting with unrealistic colors to attain more realistic human figures (EAG entry).
Bottom Right - “Linwood Oken” by Chloe Mills of Naperville North HS in Naperville ~ Photoshop with created brushes (NAL entry).
